Do I need a paid tier to list plans or submit proposals?
No. Profiles, plans, and your free proposal allowance are included. Listing premium and featured spotlight are optional visibility and capacity add-ons when checkout is enabled.
Do clients pay to post a project?
Posting is free. The marketplace fee is the platform percentage when a payment runs on-site for a plan or milestone.
Where do I buy listing premium or featured spotlight?
Go to Dashboard → Account: clients see Listing premium; studios see Visibility & paid options. When add-on checkout is live, you can also subscribe from the Pricing page. Prices and terms are shown before Stripe checkout.
After I hire someone on PlanGrounds, does listing premium limit the project?
No. Listing premium only affects how many proposals you can receive while the post is open. Once you accept a proposal and move forward on-platform, that project’s contracts, milestones, and messaging follow the standard workflow.
When does the platform fee apply?
When a plan checkout or contract milestone payment is processed through PlanGrounds. Amounts are shown before you confirm. Work agreed off-platform is between you and the other party—no PlanGrounds fee on that.
