PlanGrounds is a platform where clients can discover architectural plans, connect with architects, and move from idea to built project in one place.
PlanGrounds is a carefully organized marketplace for architecture, interiors, landscape, and design-build—built for homeowners and small commercial projects. Discover plans, connect with the professionals behind the work, and move from browsing to a real project in one place.
PlanGrounds is a product built intentionally from one architect’s vision: Diego Enrique Fernandez (Fernandez; Gonzalez from his Chilean mother). Born in Miami, Florida, he moved to Chile at 12, became an architect there, and returned to the U.S. to build a better starting point for clients and a better pipeline for architects.
Finding the right plan or the right design professional is usually scattered across search, social, and word-of-mouth. Clients don’t have one place to compare plans and get clear proposals; architects and design studios don’t have a focused place to be found and win real engagements. We built PlanGrounds so both sides can discover, compare, and connect in a single, transparent flow.
Browse plans by style, size, and budget. Save favorites, post an open project, and receive proposals from verified professionals. One place to discover, compare, and hire—without chasing leads across multiple sites.
How it worksShowcase your work with a public profile and plan portfolio. Get discovered by clients who are actively looking, and propose on curated open projects. We handle the platform so you can focus on design.
Fees: clients and professionalsWhen you connect with a client or a firm here, we want that relationship to stay on the platform. One place for messages, project history, and (when we support it) contracts and payments means less back-and-forth and a clear record for your next project together.
PlanGrounds is focused on architecture and design professionals. The goal is to help great architects win work without racing to the bottom, and to help clients hire with clarity: scope, budget, timeline, and real deliverables.
Browsing, posting a project, and submitting proposals are free. When someone pays through PlanGrounds—today, a plan purchase or a funded contract milestone—we add an additional platform fee of 5% on that payment amount, shown at checkout (often described as 5% additional on top of the payment you are calculating). That fee is paid by the professional (deducted from their payout). We only earn when a deal moves to a paid step here, not when you are still comparing or messaging.
Nothing is “surprise billed.” See For professionals — Pricing for illustrative fee ranges and how amounts are shown before you commit.
You can rely on this: at payment or acceptance, the live product and any agreement you have with PlanGrounds define the fee—not a static marketing paragraph.
PlanGrounds is operated by Polygen Lab LLC. You’ll see that name on billing and legal documents; PlanGrounds is the product name and platform experience.
